The history of Dragon style

has always been transmitted orally rather than by the text, so its origins will probably never experienced in their entirety. Dragon style of modern history can be traced back reliably to the monk Tai Yuk Sim See who was the abbot of Wa Sau Toi (White Hair) temple on Mount Luofu. Unreliable to the origin of the style that existed before, but there are many speculations on the subject.

Dragon style has its roots in Hakka Kuen, a combination of local styles of the Hakka in the heart of eastern Guangdong, with the style that the monk Gee Sim Sim See taught in Guangdong and neighboring Fujian province, in the 1700s [1].

North of Dongjiang in north-west of Bóluó (博罗) County in the prefecture of Huizhou in Guangdong province is the sacred mountain Luófúshān. Luófúshān is the site of many temples, including where Wa Sau Toi, c. 1900, Chan (Zen) master named Tai Yuk Dragon style taught to Lam Yiu-Kwai, who in turn passed the art on the number of students from schools in Guangzhou.

Lam Yiu-Kwai and Cheung Lai Chuen-have been good friends since their youth in the region of Huizhou Dongjiang, longstanding partners of training and, later, the cousins by marriage. Lam Cheung and opened several schools together and Dragon style and style of Bak Mei Cheung share many similarities.

A variant of the Dragon style is taught by Kung Fu Long Choo company based in Penang, Malaysia and Australia, with branches. Founded by Li Ah Yu and his father, near the end of the century, the association claims it is teaching a Soft / Hard Dragon style from Fukkien province.

Long before Saint George encountered his legendary beast, the dragon and played a beneficial role in Chinese culture. An amalgam of several creatures, including lizards, pythons and the Chinese alligator, the polymorphic dragon was a water spirit, responsible for rain and thus ensure the survival of cultures. The dragon is the symbolic guardian of the gods, and was the source of true wisdom. This latter feature most likely the result of observation of the lives of reptiles counterparts, usually at rest, appear to be in a state close to contemplation.

The dragon represented two elements of antiquity, the Earth and Water, endowing the creature with the power of illusion and strength. A Yang symbol, the Taoists saw the dragon as a personification of the Tao itself - "The Dragon is only to disappear." Shaolin Buddhists saw him as a vision of enlightened truth, to be felt, but never take place. Some very old men were called dragons, which are paid in life support skills of medicine plants, agriculture, and kung fu. In early China, these skills are certainly a matter of life and death to those who have been educated held in high esteem

note that:
The movements of the Dragon style (traditional Chinese:龙形摩桥; Yale Cantonese: long ying Mo kiu literally "dragon shape rub bridges") of Chinese martial arts are based on the mythical Chinese dragon.

dragon style kung fu (basics ,books ,kicks, codes)

Basics of The Shaolin Dragon Kung Fu

The Dragon Kung Fu practitioner typically attacks with low liquidation yang, that is powerful and quick movements. For example, when striking with the fist, more power may be exercised where the movement is from the feet, is guided by the size, flows through the body and exits through the fist.

Foot work in Southern Dragon style :

In Southern Dragon style, leg work is characterized by a zigzag movement that mimics the movement of the imaginary mythical Chinese dragon. This will also use a floating and sinking movements which are very important in power generation and stability, which makes your body calm and relaxed.

Although the footwork Lung Ying pool is deep, it generally centers around two basic types of intensification. The first is "Zig Zag" strengthening (strengthening dragon). Basically, each step forward, the back foot moves forward and becomes the front foot. However, the step is not taken directly in front, but results mainly from the angle of the front foot is turned in (about 33 degrees). This has the effect of moving the player LY front and out in a corner, while offering some protection to the groin of the attack. Such reinforcement allows a lung ying player to press his opponent (usually used before the opponent's center was taken), while launching attacks from the angles that are difficult for the opponent to defend. LY The player seems to be constantly moving in a range uncomfortable and at an angle that forces their opponent to reposition their whole body to defend against, or the couple around their torso breaking their structure and disconnect the power machinery of their low body.

The second basic type of Bic Bo intensification is the intensification and strengthening of the press. In this method, the front foot moves forward and back foot behind to return to the basic position. This reinforcement covers less distance than the dragon intensification, and is used to press the opponent. It is often used when the player LY began to support the attack for good or is the operation of certain benefits. There are specific methods for footwork to stretching in various forms. One of the main objectives of the footwork is to keep the player LY "above" their opponent and attacking range. Also, this type of reinforcement is widely used in various methods of fracture position.

Southern Dragon style points

"Control yourself, let others do what they are.
This does not mean you're weak.
Control your heart, respect the principles of life.
This does not mean others are stronger. "

Secrets of Southern Dragon style

* The seeds were planted Haufeng; gasoline was acquired by Haushou
* Prevent the performance itself and for others not because we are weak, but to enforce ethics Tao and let others have their request.

Four Tips of the Dragons

1. Focus for the training and status of the body.
2. Be fair and defend your honor.
3. Respect your parents, honor your teacher.
4. Treat others with honesty, to treat your friends with fidelity.

Dragon style in popular culture

These are all examples of Northern Dragon Style - rather than the aforementioned Southern Dragon (Lung Ying).
Jackie Chan uses the Dragon Style in his movie "Dragon Fist".
In Kung Fu Panda 2 an evil dragon known as Sinlong uses Dragon style.

dragon martial arts training techniques

The dragon stylist relies on a variety of fighting techniques that can be used for a wide range of needs. The style uses techniques that can paralyze or kill an opponent if the need arises or it may simply be used to control a small street, the fight against the situation.

Lung Ying (Dragon form) focuses mainly on the powerful, short-range attacks, like the south of China among the styles of kung fu. However, the styles of the use of technical devices and seizure as well as the extensive use of the forearm both offensively and defensively are quite unique to the art. The style was created as an aggressive combat art and operates under the assumption that you try to disable your opponent is to the point that they are no longer a threat in battle, or kill them, even if they are not by any means the only options Lung Ying player. As such Lung Ying employs a large number of techniques to damage the opponent, either through joint or direct manipulation striking; cancel the defenses of the adversary, either by breakage or compromise their position on their guard, and thus their ability to defend, and others. Like most of southern style kung fu, he has limited jumps and kicks and consisted mainly of fist, palm and clawing techniques. Electricity produced from the intaglio hard jin (see neijin and waijin).

Lung Ying training also involves a large amount of iron body training. Hardening forearms in particular, is considered essential for the style because it makes use of them. According to the school while a relatively large pool of traditional training methods will be used to strengthen the body. Three, five and seven stars conditioning exercises, fish buckets, weighted ropes, sandbags, and hitting all the poles are in Lung Ying schools. It is really not possible to separate lung ying from conditioning methods, the two work hand in hand, needing each other to be completely effective.

real shaolin kung Fu Basics (Dragon techniques)

Dragon kung fu is largely internal, qi (pronounced chi) cultivation method, but the training is much more like a hard, external style that delicate approach reptiles. In learning movements, students will strike hard, block hard and stomp at each position, with the idea of learning to the right place to be once a movement is finished. Finally, the method of transmission power is kept, and strengthening the physical body is able to make transitions as smooth, so fluid. In turn, this allows to hide reptilian smoothness of the attack, making it extremely difficult for an adversary to effectively counter. The practitioner is at a 45 degree angle to the opponent

Once a seemingly purely physical flow has been mastered, the disciple understands the depth of the sounds of train whistles ch'i flow. Inhalation is silent, but the end is deliberate, time and controlled. Inhalation reduces the body of aerial maneuvers, while generating power players in each technique. Blocking is eliminated, and the parades or simply strikes replaced. At this point, novice and advanced students show very little in common.

On the highest level, an adversary is allowed to own tires, fraud becoming the key to the defense of the Dragon. Qi control is highly developed, and the extent to which the body must be to redirect or avoid the impact is greater control.

The forms that comprise this system are divided by the complexity into three categories and are listed below:

* Basic
16 movements
o Passage Bridge Three Times
o Fierce Tiger Leaping Over Wall
o Master Rescue From single sideband
o Single and Sword Mount
o Hit the press and four sides
o Eagle Claw
o Bridge Smashing
* Intermediate
o Touch Bridge (introduced sticking hands)
o Venomous Snake Tongue Moves
Hua o King's Fist
o Permanent Five-Form
o Standing Cross Five-Form
o Turn Hook and Hit
o Five horses back to the stability of Palm
* Advanced
o Plum Flower Punch
o Seven Ways Plum Flower Punch

In each form, it is taught to "take the wind", a phrase which means, in large part, to follow rather than lead. Provide, without opening to leave your opponent open. Unlike Crane, which also relies heavily on fraud as a tactic, the Dragon escapes mainly through the rotation of the upper or lower torso with little or no movement of position while the crane hop stylist often reposition all body. Both styles use strikes to identify targets meridian, but also heavily used as tiger dragon-punching and clawing techniques, snake position changes, as the leopard and the hit and run strikes to weaken an opponent physically superior. Dragon kung fu also regularly employs low scanning techniques, but they are not unique, the highest of any kung fu stylists of the use of the system to a weakening of the adversary.
