Mixed martial arts action planned for Grand Isle rodeo

As Published in News today , the event of fights between fighters of mixed martial arts will be done by the Middle of this month , July 2009 ,and now to the details :

HOUMA - Fans of mixed martial arts can catch some local fighters in action during the annual International Grand Isle Tarpon Rodeo.

Houma-based In Ya Face Fight Productions plans to host a mixed martial arts competition July 25 in Grand Isle, as part of Tarpon Rodeo festivities.

The main event features professional boxer Zane Marks versus Rich McCloskey.

Other professional fights include Lance Foussell, James Jackson, Martin Stoilkov and Tyler Soudier.

The amateur card includes fighters from the Houma-Thibodaux area, New Orleans, Mississippi, Florida and Texas.

VIP front-row tables are $600 for 10 seats.

Other VIP seating costs $50 and $40 per seat.

General admission is $30.
